Export Summary
U.S. exports of horticultural products to all countries in November totaled $917 million, down 6 percent from the same month a year earlier. Nine out of 15 categories registered decreases. Categories with the most significant decreases in November were miscellaneous products (down $20.3 million or 9 percent), non-citrus fruit (down $15.0 million or 12 percent) and dried fruit (down $11.0 million or 25 percent). The category with the most significant increase was wine (up $9.5 million or 26 percent). For FY 1999 to date (October-November), the total value of U.S. horticultural exports was $1.9 billion3 percent below FY 1998.
