Commerce Announces Preliminary Determinations on Shrimp from China and Vietnam
On July 6, 2004, the Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its preliminary determinations in the antidumping investigations of warm water shrimp from the non-market economies of China and Vietnam.  DOC determined that Chinese and Vietnamese producers/exporters have made sales to U.S. customers at less than fair value, with dumping margins ranging from 7.67 percent to 112.81 percent for imports from China, and 12.11 percent to 93.13 percent for imports from Vietnam.  DOC is scheduled to make its final injury determination on November 24, 2004.
Commerce Announces Preliminary Determinations on Shrimp from Brazil, Ecuador, India, and Thailand
On July 29, 2004, the Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its preliminary determinations in the antidumping investigations of warm water shrimp from Brazil, Ecuador, India, and Thailand, finding that producers/exporters from these countries have made sales to U.S. customers at less than fair value.  The dumping margins ranged from 8.41 percent to 67.8 percent for Brazil, 6.08 percent to 9.35 percent for Ecuador, 3.56 percent to 27.49 percent for India, and 5.56 percent to 10.25 percent for Thailand.  DOC is scheduled to make its final injury determinations on December 17, 2004.
