UPCOMING CHANGES TO eAUTHORIZATION APPLICATION MAY AFFECT WBSCM USERS

EFFECTIVE JULY 17 THROUGH JULY 22, 2012

USDA eAuthentication Application Modernization Impact to WBSCM Users

Starting Tuesday, July 17 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time and continuing through Sunday, July 22, eAuth will be undergoing the first phase of a modernization effort. In this first phase eAuth accounts will be transferred to a new eAuth application site.

During this period your access to the eAuth account management interface will be impacted as follows:

• Users will not be able to register new eAuth accounts (starting 7/17/2012 @ 8pm through 7/22/2012)

• Users will not be able to update their eAuth account information, such as change names, phone numbers, or email addresses (starting 7/17/2012 @ 8pm through 7/22/2012)

• Users will not be able to reset their eAuth account passwords, however, this will only be restricted from July 20 through July 22

There will be NO impact to your ability to logon to WBSCM during this time period using your existing eAuth account.

On Monday July 23 all of the above functionality will be restored and a new eAuth account management interface will be in place. It will have a similar look and feel to the current eAuth application with some slight differences.
