Fees
GSM-102: Beginning July 1, 2005, the fee structure for the GSM-102 program was changed to a risk-based approach. This approach determines the fee to cover an export credit guarantee for a specific transaction in a particular country or with a specific multilateral institution. By examining a number of factors including CCC’s experience in the operation of the program in the particular country, CCC assigns a numeric risk category (0-6, lowest to highest risk). The risk category (along with other factors) determines the fee charged. The corresponding risk-based categories are shown next to the listed countries below. The GSM-102 fee schedule, which contains fee rates by risk category, tenor, and repayment frequency, can be found at http://www.fas.usda.gov/excredits/gsm102fees.html.
FGP: The fees charged under FGP correspond to the fees charged by the U.S. Export Import Bank and are established in accordance with OECD guidelines. For country risk ratings and fees applicable to FGP, please see the U.S. Export-Import Bank website at http://www.exim.gov/tools/fee_calc.cfm.
Frequency of Updates:
CCC intends to update both this web page and the risk category for a country when circumstances warrant. No official USDA program announcement of these updates will be made unless such information warrants an official announcement.
