Benin - Catholic Relief Services (CRS) CRS implements a school feeding program in six northern districts that have the lowest enrollment rates for girls. Communities serve two meals per day. The majority provide one meal from community food donations and cash contributions, and the second meal from U.S. food aid. CRS has trained over 650 Parent Teacher Association members on canteen management using a six-part storyboard series suitable for literate and illiterate audiences. CRS held workshops with Ministry of Education representatives and hosted community campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of girls' education, data collection accuracy, and monitoring and evaluation.
