Ukraine Strengthens Broiler Production
While Ukraine meat production overall saw growth in 2003, the largest increase was seen in broiler production, attributed to strong demand and continued investment. Per capita broiler consumption, risen to 8.5 pounds in 2003, is expected to continue to rise, causing a growing demand for parts and value-added products.
