TRADE LEADS SERVICE IS ONCE AGAIN AVAILABLE!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service has re-launched the Trade Leads service effective July 23, 2009. Qualified U.S. exporters as well as U.S. Suppliers of food and agricultural products can receive targeted trade leads from foreign buyers seeking to import their products. .

In order to take advantage of these timely leads, a U.S. company must be registered on the U.S. Suppliers List (USL) database. The USL is managed through a cooperative agreement between the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA). New Media Solutions, Inc. hosts this service for FAS and NASDA.
There are two ways for a company to register.
  • On-Line registration - A company can self-register themselves at this link http://www.fas.usda.gov/agx/partners_trade_leads/us_suppliers_list.asp. Once the information has been verified, a company is then added to the database within three business days. In order to self-register your company must first have a Dun and Bradstreet number.
  • State Departments of Agriculture – The local State Departments of Agriculture are working closely with FAS and NASDA to provide quality leads to interested U.S. exporters. To find your local marketing office that deals with international trade you can source them at this link: http://www.nasda.org/cms/7195/8617.aspx.
