Student Temporary Employment Program

Provides flexible, continuous temporary employment and summer hire for approximately 10 weeks. Enables students to earn a salary while continuing their studies. Duties do not have to be related to student’s academic career goals.

Who Can Apply?

 You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply.

 Must be a degree seeking student taking at least a half-time academic course load in an accredited high school, technical or vocational school, 2 or 4 year college or university, graduate or professional school.

Classifications and Qualifications

 Appointed based on occupational series for which hired

 Grade level in according to appropriate GS or WG classification standard

 Qualifications evaluated by Agency standards

Work Schedule

 Full- or Part-time

 No limit on number of hours per week (should not interfere with studies)
