Federal Women's Program

Program Manager: Michele Kouadio

The objective of the Federal Women’s Program (FWP) is to enhance women’s awareness of career advancements and opportunities into leadership and executive positions. We do this by assisting in the development of a networking system between managers, supervisors and employees to identify and eliminate barriers to the hiring and advancement of female employees. Also, we conduct outreach with colleges and universities, and other minority serving organizations to attract women with an interest in agriculture and international employment. The aim of these activities is to promote current FAS employees, inform interns of employment opportunities and identify candidates for student employment and career positions.
