Must be filed within 15 days of the date when the Notice of Right to File is
issued.
Must be sufficiently precise to identify the aggrieved individual and agency
and must generally describe the action(s) or practice(s) that form the basis of
the complaint.
Investigations
- An impartial, appropriate factual record upon which to make findings on
the claim(s) raised is developed.
- "Appropriate" factual record allows fact-finder to determine whether
discrimination occurred.
- Must be completed within 180 days from when complaint was filed.
- Agency must provide complainant with a copy of the investigative report.
