United
States Wins in WTO Challenge to Canadian Dairy Subsidies |
|
Appellate
body decides that
Canada continues to provide illegal subsidies to its dairy
industry, even after revising its practices due to previous
losses. WTO findings
establish a precedent that will help prevent other countries
from adopting similar export subsidy schemes harmful to U.S.
agricultural industries. (12/20/02) |
